Pros 

 Vibrant, full-colour results – Produces bright, high-resolution, photo-quality prints with smooth gradients. 

 Permanent designs – The ink becomes part of the fabric/coating. 

 Soft feel – Because the ink is embedded in the material. 

 All-over printing – Can print edge-to-edge and cover the entire surface without seams or borders. 

 No minimum colour count cost – Full-colour prints cost the same as single-colour. 

Cons of Sublimation Printing 

Material limitations – Works best on polyester fabrics or polymer-coated surfaces; not suitable   

for cotton or dark natural fibres. 

Light backgrounds only – The process does not print white ink, so it’s ideal for white/light- 

coloured items. 

Potential for ghosting – Misalignment during pressing can cause blurry double images. 

Fading in sunlight – Sublimation inks can fade faster outdoors if not UV-protected. 

Limited texture options – Cannot print on textured or non-coated surfaces without special treatments. 

Minimum Quantity applies -Usually have a minimum order 50+ garments. 

Long lead time – Usually takes at least 6-8 weeks to be printed.
